Job summary
Moorfields Eye Hospital is one of the world's leading centres for eye health. As we prepare for the next chapter of our history with the landmark Oriel project, we are seeking an exceptional leader to coordinate and oversee our capital equipping agenda.
This is a newly created role, reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, focused on bringing together the many internal and external partners involved in equipping major capital projects. Oriel is delivered through a matrix of support providers, and this post will ensure clarity of roles, alignment of plans, and smooth delivery across all parties.
We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal and organisational skills, confident working across multiple disciplines, and experienced in keeping complex projects moving. This role is about coordination, assurance, and collaboration, not carrying out procurement activity directly.

Main duties of the job
You will act as the central coordinator for all capital equipping activity, working across clinical, operational, procurement and finance teams, as well as with suppliers and external partners.
The role focuses on oversight, alignment and assurance - keeping plans on track, resolving issues, and ensuring value for money and sustainability. By enabling success through collaboration and leadership, you will support the Trust in delivering world-class facilities that advance patient care, research and innovation in eye health.
