Oriel Programme Coordinator

Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

The closing date is 05 May 2025

Job summary

Are you ready for a once-in-a-career opportunity and to be part of healthcare history? Do you want to join a team at the forefront of delivering a brand-new world leading centre for advancing eye health in London? This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of the programme delivering the new, integrated eye care centre.

We are looking for a Programme Coordinator to provide project support and programme-wide coordination to enable the delivery of the Oriel programme and its associated workstreams. You will be self-driven and have the confidence to manage your own workload. The role would also suit someone who enjoys being proactive and is a natural problem solver with a curious mind.

The post holder will work within the Oriel programme team, and across Moorfields and UCL sites with senior workstream leads and clinical, research and education teams across the Trust and UCL. Travel to between the City Road sites, the construction site (in St Pancras) and to other partner organisations will be necessary.

Main duties of the job

There are two core elements of the role. One aspect is providing project management support aligned to a number of specific workstreams (which may change during the life of the programme), including driving delivery of key tasks, milestone tracking and maintenance of project documentation. The other aspect is providing programme-wide coordination and business support, including meeting coordination, workshop planning, action tracking, forward planning, designing and implementing processes and general support to the Oriel programme directors in discharging all of their duties.

The postholder will also need to present a positive image of the Trust and UCL whilst maintaining a high level of confidentiality. The post-holder will be employed by Moorfields but will provide support across the joint programme team.
