Job summary

You will be joining Moorfields Eye Hospital at an exciting time as we transform and innovate our QA process, ensuring our solutions are robust, scalable, and secure.We are seeking a senior test engineer with cloud and automation testing expertise to implement and maintain testing frameworks for our applications and services.Experience in technologies (or similar to)o .NET applicationso Test automation for web and cloud-based testing (for e.g. PHP framework)o Scripting Language such as Powershell; JavaScipt; VBScript; Python; C#You will be joining a team where your ideas and expertise are valued. You will apply best practices to deliver quality and reliable software services and collaborate with DevOps and operational teams to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline.

Main duties of the job

A senior test engineer is involved in test engineering activities at a complex level, and on large-scale projects / service delivery.At this role level, you will:o Identify and raise awareness of risks arising from the automation test results.o Identify new and implement existing test frameworks to improve confidence in testingo Be proficient in a range of coding languages (you may be an expert in only one)o Mentor and advise other team members in testing practices
