Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Quality, Service Improvement and Sustainability (QSIS) team for two Digital & Transformation Project Managers for a fixed term period of 12 months (maternity cover).

We are looking for organised, enthusiastic individuals who are self-motivated but also enjoy working in a team. In addition to project management skills they will need to be able to deliver change, lead through influence and rethink established practice.

The role of Digital & Transformation Project Managers requires proven experience of managing major digital/transformational change projects to a successful conclusion, including realising objectives and benefits delivery within the project deadline and costs.

Main duties of the job

The Digital & Transformation Project Manager is directly responsible for the management and delivery of specific cross-cutting projects that form part of the Trusts Excellence Programme.

The post holder is responsible for ensuring that each cross-cutting project is managed using the Trusts' project and programme management framework to deliver successful outputs, outcomes and realisable benefits on time and within budget.

This will involve setting project objectives, determining project scope and deliverables, developing a robust project plan, risks and issues management, and monitoring and reporting arrangements.

The post will be based at the Moorfields Eye Hospital Old Street site, but the post-holder will be expected to work across all sites as their projects require.

The successful candidates can expect to be leading on the Surgical Excellence Programme and the Federated Data Platform programme respectively. However, this may change to reflect any change in organisational priority or strategic direction.
