Are you looking for a rewarding and varied role within a supportive team? Bassetlaw is seekingFacilities Service Assistants to join our Facilities Department.
We are currently recruiting for a range ofroles offering flexible working hours and opportunities for additional earnings based at Bassetlaw Teaching Hospital.
Available Positions:
- Facilities Service Assistant (Relief Worker)
- 18 hours per week
- 20 hours per week
- 25 hours per week (2 positions available)
- 27.5 hours per week
- Working 5 days over 7
- Shifts between 06:00 - 22:00
- Includes weekends and bank holidays
- Opportunities to earn extra through bank holiday enhancements
- Facilities Service Assistant (Children's Outpatients)
- 15 hours per week
- Monday - Friday
- Shifts between 17:00 - 20:00
- Enhanced Clean Team Assistant
- 25 hours per week
- Monday - Friday
- Shifts between 10:00 - 15:00
Main duties of the job
Service Assistants are responsible for carrying out a range of cleaning and portering tasks throughout the hospital, ensuring that the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are consistently maintained.
This is a physically demanding role that involves lifting, carrying, and moving items. Applicants should therefore be reasonably physically fit to meet the requirements of the position.
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
