Job summary

This is an excellent opportunity to join our well established inpatient Orthopaedic therapy team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated physiotherapist with previous experience in core areas of physiotherapy to join our team at Bassetlaw Hospital.

The post will suit either a Band 5 physiotherapist who have competed their core rotations and is ready for the challenge of a more senior role, or a physiotherapist with experience of working with Orthopaedic patients in the acute setting and is wanting to develop their clinical and leadership skills. We are looking to recruit a Band 6 or can consider a Band 5 development role dependent upon experience.

We are a Teaching hospital committed to the development of all staff. You will receive training and support to develop your professional, personal and clinical skills through clinical supervision, Development reviews and the Trusts Leadership Development Programme.

The successful candidates will hold the appropriate Physiotherapy qualifications, have HPC registration and be able to meet the requirements of the post outlined in the Job Description and Person Specification.

The ability to work flexibly, over 7 days and across sites is essential to support the Orthopaedic therapy teams at DBTH.

To provide highly specialist assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients with complex orthopaedic/musculoskeletal physiotherapy problems as an autonomous practitioner within a clinical speciality area. To take responsibility for self and team development and contribute to service development
