Are you a Band 6 midwife who has been qualified for over 2 years?
Are you experienced in taking charge of a shift?
If so. we are looking for enthusiastic midwives with a keen interest in antenatal and postnatal care, to join our core mixed antenatal and postnatal team.
Clinical experience in all aspects of midwifery care is a prerequisite, demonstrating credibility as a good role model. Main duties of the job
To provide the highest standard of midwifery care in conjunction with other disciplines for all women and birthing people attending Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals.
The post holder will be autonomous in their practice and provide evidence based care following hospital and NMC guidelines.

- At least 2 years' experience as a qualified midwife and currently working as a band 6 midwife
- Recent experience of managing the care of women in the antenatal and postnatal periods
- Confident with all induction of labour processes including insertion of Cookes balloons
- Confident and competent to take charge of a shift
- Competent in use of IT packages such as Microsoft Word, excel and PowerPoint.
- Competent in venepuncture, cannulation and IV administration
