Job summary
Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit an additional full time Consultant in ENT. We are delighted to be able to offer an opportunity for a highly motivated ambitious individual to join our team. The post is based at Doncaster Royal Infirmary but there may be a requirement to perform out patient clinics at Bassetlaw Hospital, Montagu Hospital and Retford Hospital.
The post holder will be an addition to the team of 6 full time Consultants and one Specialist surgeon at Doncaster Royal Infirmary. The service is provided across 3 sites, Doncaster Royal Infirmary, Montagu Hospital in Mexborough and Bassetlaw Hospital.
Main duties of the job
This post is to provide ENT services within Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Trust. A sub-specialty interest in Head & Neck, Thyroid, Parathyroid and salivary Surgery is desired. The appointee will be expected to take on lead roles within Head & Neck Surgery. They will be expected to play an active part in the educational and training needs of resident doctors, medical students and nurses.
