Job summary
An excellent and exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the Women's and Children's Division. We are looking for an excellent communicator who is a forward thinking, positive and highly motivated individual to join the team. This is a part-time post working 4 days a week - this must include working on Fridays due to the Divisions meetings schedule.
We are looking to recruit a well organised secretary to provide a comprehensive, efficient secretarial/administrative service to support to the Division.
As a key member of the Division you will be part of an experienced and supportive team responsible for providing a first class service to the Senior Leadership Team, Consultants, Matrons, Ward Managers and other key members within the Women's and Children's Division.
Applicants should have a flexible approach to work with the ability to work with minimal supervision, prioritise work and deal with complex/sensitive issues. An understanding of information governance/confidentiality procedures and knowledge of records management processes are also highly desirable aspects of the post.
Main duties of the job
As a member of the Women's and Children's Division you will provide comprehensive, customer focussed, administrative support.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate excellent communication, organisational and team working skills and have experience of supporting and encouraging others whilst working in a demanding office/customer service environment.
The successful applicant will be required to have previous secretarial experience, have the ability to take concise minutes and have an excellent working knowledge/understanding of Microsoft Office applications. The successful applicant will also be required to have GCSE English Language qualification or equivalent.
The post requires excellent organisational skills, and requires the ability to work independently, frequently exercising tact, discretion, initiative, and judgement.
