Job summary
The post holder will work in the People Systems and Workforce Information Team and will facilitate the roll out of medics rostering modules within the trust, supporting end users and working with key stakeholders.
The post holder will support in the implementation of medics rostering modules, and haveresponsible for supporting users, maintaining, controlling access and the security of the medics rostering applications and be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the use of all modules of the software and associated processes, having the ability to produce and analyse data, and also seek out and resolve software and end user issues effectively.
Main duties of the job
- As an SME provide first line support to trust managers and end users for query resolution including system access, software and end user issues; diagnosing and resolving day to day system queries, errors or malfunctions independently and escalating issues where necessary
- Produce material and deliver End User training (provision of appropriate new starter and upgrade training and the writing/updating of user manuals for both clinical and other operational staff).
- Account management escalation process with supplier
- Ensure system probity between ESR (Electronic Staff Records) and Medics Rostering applications via synchronisation of the systems on a timely basis.
- To have understanding of project management framework and processes. Assist and support any change or project management activity by providing input of knowledge/data, and carrying out any required actions resulting from the activity. Work proactively to own vast majority of administrative responsibilities to maximize productivity of the Project and Implementation Manager's respectively.
- Support the design, implementation and upkeep of an effective system to evaluate and measure system software benefits.
