The successful candidate will be responsible for business planning, digital strategy planning, customer engagement, financial planning and will help support continual service improvements across the digital directorate.

Main duties of the job

We are look for a proactive and strategic Digital Business Manager to deliver high-quality, efficient digital services and help to drive forward our ambitious transformation plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on the development and delivery of our Digital strategy.
  • Lead team development, focusing on objectives, resourcing, and training to enhance performance.
  • Stay ahead of strategic developments in DDaT, advising senior leadership on opportunities and impacts on our business strategy.
  • Monitor progress against strategic goals and refresh the annual DDaT Business Plan.
  • Prepare change proposals, including estimates and business cases, while understanding key cost drivers.

  • Substantial senior management experience
  • Experience of managing performance targets
  • Experience of managing a range of services within an acute healthcare setting
  • Experience of working with multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience of successful business planning and service development

Desirable

  • Proven track record of successful and sustained management in an NHS Foundation Trust or similar organisation
  • Involvement in NHS service development and reconfiguration
  • Up-to-date knowledge of NHS system reform policy and other key policy drivers. (Performance Management, operating Framework, capacity planning, payment by results, independent sector development and Foundation Trust issues)
  • Knowledge of strategic and business planning
