Job summary
Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Band 5 staff nurse (Developmental role) to join the neonatal team at Doncaster. The post holder will provide the highest standard of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individualised holistic care in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team within the neonatal unit.
This is a developmental post for an experienced Band 5 staff Nurse who is ready to undertake the Qualified in Speciality (QIS) course. Following successful completion and consolidation of the QIS and Competence Assessment Package (CAP) there will be an opportunity for progression within the neonatal unit.
Main duties of the job
Caring for infants requiring admission to the neonatal unit.
Undertaking training packages to improve knowledge and clinical skills.
Providing and supporting family integrated care on the Neonatal unit.
Working alongside the multi disciplinary team to provide excellent evidence based care.
