Job summary

Our busy Audiology service is looking for a reliable, and dependable Band 2 Clerical officer to join our administration team. If you are a good team worker and are able to provide a high standard of patient-centred care, are kind, caring, professional and flexible, than you may be the person we are looking for.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work at both Sandringham Road Clinic and Doncaster Royal Infirmary.

As a service, we provide a full range of adult and paediatric diagnostic and rehabilitative services.

As a band 2 Clerical Officer, your main role will be to provide admin support to the Audiology Team to help ensure the smooth running of our service. The role would consist of maintaining accurate patient notes, filing, imputing data onto Trust and Audiology systems, reception cover, answering the telephones and dealing with patient enquiries. Effective team work and a keen focus on the Trusts Vision & Values are essential.

The successful applicant will have a good level of education and be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills, while having the ability to stay focused in a busy environment. You will also have good keyboard skills with a high level of accuracy and the ability to work individually and as part of a team. A working knowledge of Trust systems would be an advantage.
