Job summary
The Post holder will actively participate and manage the effective and efficient maintenance of a comprehensive ophthalmic imaging service to the Directorate of Ophthalmology.
The post holder will act as a Clinical / Ophthalmic Photographer whom will provide a comprehensive range of photographic, video-graphic and technical services across a number of ophthalmic clinics for an aid/basis for diagnosis and teaching purposes
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate is required to liaise with clinicians, general practitioners, health care professionals and support staff.
The post holder will be required to perform photographic and video procedures of varying complexity, some of which require a high degree of skill and experience. You will also exercise autonomy within professional and managerial boundaries and will be required to verify and validate completed work.
