Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Waiting List Coordinator to join the Podiatric Surgery team within the Division of Surgery. The successful candidate will provide a vital and dynamic team leading role within Podiatric Surgery, and contribute to the overallperformance of the service.

You will assist in the booking of clinics using Trust systems and help cover main reception for the Podiatric Surgery clinics as and when required.

You will also be responsible for the validation of the Patient Tracking List, ensuring patients are being monitored and tracked to expedite treatment and meet RTT/NHS England targets.

You will manage and have responsibility for the day to day management of the theatre lists and adhere to Trust HR policies and procedures.

Main duties of the job

An exciting vacancy has arose to join the Podiatric Surgery Admin Team team within Surgery Division. As a self motivated individual you will become an integral part of the wider admin team.

Duties will include, planning theatre lists and liaising with consultants and Specialist Registrar and the higher management team to ensure the mix of patients and procedures is acceptable.

Essentially, the post holder will need to have experience in dealing with patients on a waiting list, knowledge of Bluespier/ CaMIS / System One and have a minimum of 3 GCSE to the equivalent of grade C or above as well as excellent keyboard skills.
