Job summary
We are looking for an experienced Medical Secretary to join the Cardiology Department based at Doncaster Royal Infirmary.
Main duties of the job
You will be required to maintain a high standard of administrative support to the Cardiology medical team ensuring that robust systems are in place for the efficient end to end patient pathway.
Ensure that digital transcriptions are managed timely in accordance with Trust expectation.
Provide proactive waiting list coordination to ensure patients are booked in line with clinical priority and national/local waiting times and to support the best use of capacity for patient pathway.

- oMinimum of 3 GCSEs including English and Maths at Grade C or above or suitable equivalent qualification
- oRSA III or NVQ III or suitable equivalent level administrative qualification
- oECDL or equivalent qualification / demonstrable experience

- oPrevious experience working in a clerical/administrative role
- oKnowledge of medical terminology and Demonstrable working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word
