Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals are able to offer an exciting opportunity to join our Specialist Midwifery Sonography Team who are based in the Antenatal Clinics at both Doncaster and Bassetlaw sites.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be a qualified midwifery sonographer who will beexpected to work within the specialist field of obstetric imaging. They will provide a professionally competent combined ultrasound and midwifery service to patients within the clinical environment.
The post holder will provide third trimester (=>24/40) scanning, with a focus on GROW.
The post holder will provide a full antenatal contact and risk assessment report, interpret findings, plan care according to guidelines and pathways, referring to consultant led care if required. Adhering to BMUS (Guidelines for Professional Ultrasound Practice)
The post holder will provide leadership and training within the department and will support service development, audit and research. The post holder will undertake reflective evaluation of practice, support clinical governance and work as part of the multidisciplinary team.
The post holder will be required to work flexibly, and have a holistic approach to women, their carer's and relatives. The role is mainly Monday to Friday between 08:00 - 18:00, this may be subject to review dependent on service needs.
