Job summary
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a highly motivated, well organised and enthusiastic person, with a thorough understanding of the principles of clinical governance within the NHS, to join the corporate Executive Medical Director's team at Doncaster Royal Infirmary.
Working 20 hours per week, the post holder will support the Clinical Governance and Professional Standards Coordinator to ensure the elements of clinical governance are implemented across the organisation in a seamless and integrated manner.
Interview date will be Monday 22nd July 2024.
Main duties of the job
This role will work with the Trust's Clinical Governance and Professional Standards Coordinator to:
- Ensure the elements of clinical governance are implemented within the Trust in a seamless and integrated manner.
- Regularly review and monitor clinical governance processes at specialty, division and corporate level ensuring they meet Trust requirements
- Maintain the Trust's Safe and Effective Committees, developing the agenda and forward work plan and monitor all actions to ensure closure
- Provide specialised guidance and support to Clinical Governance Leads and teams across the Trust on governance-related matter
- Provide external reviews/assessments, when required, and monitor resultant action plans ensuring appropriate scrutiny through governance processes
