Job summary
To contribute to an effective and professional Occupational Health Service, providing pre-employment screening, annual health surveillance, assisting in the delivery of immunisation programmes, managing inoculation injuries, undertaking venepuncture, and giving occupational health advice and education to all Trust staff members.Based mainly at Doncaster Royal Infirmary, the post holder will be expected to work within any NHS Trust / external contractor premises and will be expected to transfer flexibly between workplace sites as necessary to meet service requirements.
Main duties of the job
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated registered nurse to join the Occupational Health and Wellbeing Team and to develop your career within this specialist field.
This individual will be able to expand their skills and knowledge in the area of occupational health by understanding the impact health can have on work and work can have on someone's health. You will be working in a supportive team environment; playing a crucial role in providing a compassionate and professional service that is instrumental in the care of our Trust staff and external clients. The department is also working collaboratively with other NHS Occupational Health Services within the region.
You will be delivering immunisation programmes, undertaking venepuncture, pre-employment health screening, annual Health Surveillance, managing Inoculation Injuries, and giving occupational health advice and education to all Trust staff members.
