Job summary

Our Electronic Patient Record (EPR) Programme will underpin everything we do for our patients and communities, as well enabling our staff to deliver the best care they can, every day. It will enable us to be the 'safest Trust in England, outstanding in all that we do'.

We are looking for someone with experience of leading complex digital programmes with who brings energy, enthusiasm and a track record of excellent clinical engagement to manage the complexities of this ambitious and exciting programme.

The successful candidate will hold responsibility for overseeing the EPR programme, working collaboratively, ensuring agreed outcomes and benefits are delivered safely and on time.

Main duties of the job

  • Develop and maintain sustainable working relationships to engage and communicate with a range of key stakeholders including the Trust Board, Executive team, Senior Managers and wider ICS leaders.
  • Work with all internal and external stakeholders to build effective relationships that engage with the design and delivery of the EPR Programme.
  • Establish the EPR Programme structure, embedding into the Trust's governance and existing programmes of work, putting in place robust monitoring and reporting processes.
  • Work alongside suppliers to develop systems and services to integrate and support the implementation and digital transformation.
  • Responsible, on behalf of the SRO, for the delivery of the EPR programme milestones on time and to budget.
  • Ensure the programme team are equipped and trained in order to implement the programme
  • Develop and maintain programme and project systems and processes that contribute/supports the Trust's improvement and transformation programmes
