Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an inspirational, enthusiastic midwife and leader, to manage a team of midwives and midwifery support workers who provide triage services within the maternity service. You will be supported by the Director and Head of Midwifery, the Matron team and the wider multidisciplinary team.
The post holder will need to have a high level of relevant expert knowledge and skills, to manage, develop and lead care in this area.

- Experience of induction of labour management including use of CRB

- Broad range of senior post qualification clinical experience
- Experience of service development, leading and managing change
- Evidence of change management experience
- Experience of staff management / staff supervision
- Conversant with NMC rules and code of governing practice
- Knowledge of current reports/guidelines relating to Maternity Care and their implications
- Experience with the collation and analysis of BR+ data or other data system to ensure safe staffing levels
