Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our Endoscopy administration team in a brand new role of Stop the Clock Administrator. The post holder will be responsible for the validation of all Endoscopic patient pathways.
This is a new post that has been created to improve 62 day cancer and 18 week RTTP targets.
You will be joining the Team at an exciting time and will take a lead role in ensuring that the Trust has high quality data to support the delivery of the highest quality of care to patients and for performance reporting.
Applicants will have a good standard of general education including GCSE English and Maths or equivalent and an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office based systems. Strong attention to detail is essential. The applicant will need to demonstrate they have good communication skills and be an excellent team player who enjoys learning. Ability to demonstrate that they have used a variety of different systems in either other roles or educational establishments is also required. NHS experience in a relevant field such as Patient Administration or Data Quality would be preferred but not essential.

Main duties of the job
The main duties of the role centre around the undertaking of data validation and updating data within Trust systems, primarily within the Endosoft systems.
Carry out data validations relating to the recording of patient events on PAS including but not limited to 18 week RTT treatment status codes.
Routine weekly validation of potential breaches and incorrect clock stops.
To act upon any results of sample auditing to improve skill, experience and quality of validation to reduce the level of second line validation required.
You will identify any themes in data recording issues and refer onwards for action to support "right first time".
Access NHS spine to resolve queries relating to patients demographic details.
