Craniofacial Fellowin Plastic Surgery
Great Ormond Street Hospital NHS Foundation is a leading paediatric centre in the UK and globally.
You are invited to apply to join our craniofacial surgical team. There is currently 1 post within the Craniofacial Surgery Team that would be ideal for senior trainees who wish to consolidate their training in a highly specialised paediatric environment. The appointment will be for 12 months commencing 2nd July 2026.
The hospital provides a comprehensive range of paediatric specialties at tertiary care level. In association with the Institute of Child Health there are opportunities for research, training and development in all aspects of health & disease in children.

Main duties of the job
The purpose of the Craniofacial Fellow post is to provide day-to-day clinical management of craniofacial patients (in conjunction with other team members) and to undertake a research project.
Candidates with a Plastic Surgery, ENT, Neurosurgical or Maxillofacial background will be considered.
The successful candidate will be involved in:
The inpatient assessment of children with craniofacial conditions.
Assisting at craniofacial operating lists.
Primary responsibility for perioperative care of these patients.
Take part in one in six on call rotas for plastic surgery (there is no Accident and Emergency department in the hospital).
Undertake outpatient clinics as appropriate.
