Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for 0.5 wte Band 7 Clinical Psychologist post on the Mildred Creak Inpatient Unit (MCU) within the Psychological and Mental Health Services (PAMHS).
The MCU has 8 inpatient and 2 day-patient beds available for children and young people aged between 7-13 years of age presenting with a range of complex mental health difficulties.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will join a multidisciplinary team which includes child and adolescent psychiatrists, child & adolescent psychotherapists, family & systemic psychotherapists, a principal clinical psychologist, and mental health nurses. The postholder will contribute to a range of assessments and individual and family interventions working with an experienced and supportive clinical team.
