Assistant Neuropsychologist

We are pleased to advertise a vacancy for an Assistant Neuropsychologist post in the Neuropsychology service at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

The post would suit a highly motivated individual interested in neuropsychological assessment of children with neurological conditions.

Applicants should have a first-class degree in Psychology and/or an MSc in Neuropsychology or related subject, good interpersonal skills, and experience of working with children. Prior experience of psychometric/neuropsychological assessment is essential, and experience of working with individuals with brain injury or neurological conditions is desirable. The post holder must have a high level of attention to detail and ability to sustain focus.

The service is involved in clinical research, and data management and research skills will also be valuable.

Main duties of the job

The post-holder will also be part of the wider Psychological & Mental Health Services in the Trust. There is regular formal supervision and informal support, including a large assistant psychologist group, and excellent opportunities for professional development within the Trust.
