Job summary

An exciting career opportunity has arisen for Head of Finance - ICC infomation to join our Finance Team at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. This role is to support the Associate Director of Finance - Income, Contracting and Costing.

Main duties of the job

The post holder is accountable to the Associate Director of Finance for the delivery of a wide range of contractual arrangements as set out in the NHS Standard Contract with NHS commissioning organisations. This includes negotiating, monitoring, reporting and billing of contracts with an annual value of c£520 million on behalf of the Trust.

The post holder will operate with a high degree of autonomy and will be expected to manage their own workload, priorities, milestones and deadlines.

The job holder will provide an efficient, high quality and comprehensive management information service in relation to commissioning and non-commissioning contracts across the Trust offering timely appropriate advice and support in the development of the Service Level Agreements.

This is a pivotal post in the Trust being the lead for information within the Income, Contracting and Costing team. This includes active engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

Post holder should have a clear understanding of NTPS and the associated link to Patient Level Information and Costing Systems (PLICS).
