Job summary

The postholder will ensure efficiency in supporting the day-to-day management of Medical and Dental Education Programmes under the direction of the Head of PGME. This may include programmes in:

o Undergraduate Medical Education

o Postgraduate Medical Education

o Postgraduate Dental Education

The postholder will be expected to provide operational input into the design, delivery and evaluation of internal systems and processes, to ensure all Medical and Dental Education Training Programmes operate effectively.

They will have a responsibility for accurate collecting, recording, analysing, and reporting of data to allow the department to meet its internal and external compliance and reporting requirements.

The role will also involve providing administration support to programme management groups and will include creation and distribution of agendas, minute taking, action tracking.

Main duties of the job

The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, be able to communicate effectively with staff and stakeholders at all levels and demonstrate confidence in autonomous working.

GOSH has committed to a comprehensive and ambitious funding plan to deliver a 5 year expansion programme which will increase the quantity and quality of educational activity across the organisation under the banner of the GOSH Learning Academy. The post holder will, therefore, be joining the PGME team at an exciting time, where there is significant opportunity for innovation in medical education.
