Highly Specialised Paediatric Dietitian- Neuromuscular Dietitian (Research and Clinical), Band 7Fixed term - 30 hours

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 position within the neurosciences team at the worldfamous Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, NHS Foundation Trust. Our neurosciences team covers acute inpatient neurology, inpatient and outpatient neuromuscular and the ketogenic diet service and is the principal provider of specialist epilepsy services, both emergency and elective, for London (North of the Thames) and the surrounding counties. The department also provides a national and international service for the management of rare and complex paediatric neurological conditions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work as part of a fantastic MDT team and alongside a team of highly specialised dietitians providing a high-quality clinical service toneuromuscular patients, in and outpatients across the paediatric age range 0-19 years.

We are looking for a dynamic individual with research experience and either previous neuromuscular experience or substantial general paediatric experience who wants to further develop their skills and become a specialist dietitian within the highly rewarding area of neurosciences.

Main duties of the job

To work within a multidisciplinary team involved in the patient's care providing a research and quality clinical service to in and outpatients care to patients with neuromuscular conditions across the paediatric age range 0-21 years. A You will work within the neuroscience dietetic team who cover neurology, epilepsy, ketogenic diet and neuromuscular.
