An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Data Manager to join our dynamic multidisciplinary research team.
The successful candidate will work as a senior member of the team, specifically responsible for a team of data managers extracting high quality complex clinical data from medical records and research documentation, ensuring the data is submitted in a timely manner in line with contractual obligations. The post holder will be the data lead on a number of gene therapy trials and novel therapy trials in development.The post holder willprovide comprehensive oversight and management of research databases (eg REDcap and other platforms) and research management systems (EDGE) and use these tools, and their advanced knowledge of eCRF databases, MS-Excel MS-Access to extract and collate project data, providing timely and accurate reports to various internal and external stakeholders.
As a Senior Data Manager you will manage the team of research data managers who are delivering early phase studies from multiple different specialties ensuring the data capture requirements of the research portfolio are fulfilled. Your role will involve close working with teams within the NIHR Biomedical Research Centre and Clinical Research Facility, investigators across the Trust as well as external agencies such as the Clinical Research Network: North Thames and pharmaceutical companies.
