Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust (GOSH) holds a variety of patient, family and staff accommodation close to the hospital, funded by GOSH and GOSH Children's Charity.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Accommodation Service for an Accommodation Warden.
The post holder forms part of a small team maintaining a clean, safe environment for our patients and their family, staff and visitors across the accommodation buildings.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for facilitating the co-ordination of accommodation related services. Working closely with in-house and contracted services, the Accommodation Warden will strive to ensure a safe and suitable environment for the accommodation of patients, families and staff.
Welcoming patients and families to the accommodation, providing guidance on the Accommodation Policies and Facilities available.
Prepare guest bedrooms and communal areas prior to check-in and ensure equipment/resources are available to support the patient's care plan.
Work with in-house support services and contracted service providers to provide goods or services required to support business operations.
Set up rooms.
Handling and storing luggage.
Carry out audits.
Admin related duties incl. data input.
Monitor quality standards, report deficiencies, and take appropriate action.
The post is an active role and has been developed to ensure a high standard of patient and family centred care is delivered to users of our accommodation.
