Job summary
The E-Rostering Manager is responsible for ensuring a high-quality Rostering service and associated rostering services such as safe care is available throughout the Trust, supporting operational services in achieving both local and national key performance indicators through effective and efficient Rostering and temporary staffing.
To ensure the provision of a high quality, timely and cost-effective roster system and associated support function which meets the needs of the Trust, and contributes to the overall organisational workforce planning and financial management.
Main duties of the job
Main duties and responsibilities
- To be the Human Resources Lead working collaboratively with Directorate senior management teams, Ward/Team Managers and other key stakeholders to ensure a successful and effective roster management.
- Oversee the management of all roster projects taken on by the rostering team ensuring robust project methodology, and adequate resources are assigned according to Trust and project priorities. Provide leadership and focus for the project team, promoting the service across the Trust and ensuring that risks are managed, and benefits are realised.
- Provision of expert knowledge, skill and leadership, in the speciality area of roster management. To line manage and provide leadership to the E-Rostering Team.
- Act as the Key rostering stakeholder for the trust in wider partnership working with North central London Integrated Care Systems and other Acute NHS Trust.
- This is a key role that will support the Trust in achieving the national levels of attainment for electronic rostering.
