An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiast, committed and passionate individual to join the administrative team, within International and Private Care Unit.

The Mandarin Customer Service Coordinator post holder will be able to cover all areas of the administration service ensuring a high level of customer service is delivered to all users. The post combines a number of functions to support the Referrals & Appointments, Admissions, Marketing & Referral partnership and Interpreting service for the International & Private Care unit.The post holder will be required to communicate complex and sensitive information in Mandarin and English. Non Mandarin speakers need not apply.The post-holder will be the first point of contact within a busy department. The individual will be required to provide a high level of customer care, work autonomously, priorities own workload and act on own initiative.The post holder may be required to cover other duties within the administration service including Caterpillar Outpatients in times of absence. You will be required to wear the IPP uniform.

You will also be required to work shift hours on rotation between Monday -Thursday 07:00-20:00, Friday 07:00-18:00 and Saturday 07:00-15:00. Please note these hours are on a rotational basis and are non-negotiable. You may be required to work alternative hours depending on the needs of the service.

Main duties of the job

The Mandarin Customer Service Coordinator post holder will be able to cover all areas of the administration service ensuring a high level of customer service is delivered to all users. The post combines a number of functions to support the Referrals & Appointments, Admissions, Marketing & Referral partnership and Interpreting service for the International & Private Care unit.The key tasks for this post are to:o Ensure that referrers, consultants, patients and their families are provided with an excellent customer service that is focused on meeting the customer's needs and expectations.o Provide an efficient and effective administration service to our stakeholders.o To work closely with all staff to ensure the correct information is obtained from the families at the point of registration.o Co-ordinate and book investigations on request, including treatment plans and estimates of cost for the treatment.o Be proactive and work effectively as part of the team to provide Mandarin interpreting support when required.o To be able to provide cover within all administrative areas of I&PC Patient Services to meet service demand.
