Job summary
This is an excellent opportunity for a doctor with an interest in undergraduate teaching to join Great Ormond Street Hospital as the Clinical Teaching Fellow.
.The main purpose of this role is to support this new programme, as well as our existing undergraduate programmes, by directly supporting undergraduate education. The post holder will also have the opportunity to work across a specific speciality in supporting core skills teaching to postgraduate trainees in skills development and will work with the simulation centre in improving the delivery of simulation.
Main duties of the job

- Contribute to the development of the undergraduate timetable
- Ensure good relationships are developed and maintained with departments delivering undergraduate teaching
- Ensure effective mechanisms for student feedback, collate feedback and help respond to results
- Coordinate and encourage student projects within the trust
- Promote the engagement of trust staff with UCL Medical School
- Support education at the trust, with particular reference to the provision of task training within the clinical environment in a way which is effective and accessible
- Support the research output of the GLA by contributing to research, presentations and peer reviewed publications.
