Job summary

The ICT department are currently seeking to appoint to a Desktop Support Engineer.

The ideal candidate will have recently been involved with early life and daily support of Office 365 and will understand how to build strong customer relationships based on trust and technical respect. You will be an individual who provides fast and effective support for clients, working as part of a onsite, client facing, support team.

Main duties of the job

The ideal candidate will have:

-Proven work experience as Desktop Support Engineer or Support Technician.-Extensive knowledge of home and office systems, good problem-solving skills, and high-level interpersonal skills.-Advanced knowledge of computer hardware systems, chipsets, memory modules, and peripherals.-Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10, software applications (Office 365, Intune) and remote connection systems.-Ability to solve complex hardware and software issues.-Ability to work after hours if necessary.-Excellent interpersonal skills.-Good written and verbal communication skills.-Proven experience working within ITIL governance.-ITIL Foundation (desirable)

- Audio visual meeting room support of software and hardware

- Proven record of AV maintenance and support across different sites. and Investigating failures, providing technical expertise
