Job summary
Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust (GOSH) is a national centre of excellence in the provision of specialist children's health care, currently delivering the widest range of specialist care of any children's hospital in the UK.The post-holder will be within a team of information analysts working within the Information Services Department and liaising closely with Operational and Performance colleagues.The post-holder will support clinical service delivery, performance management and planning throughout the hospital and will maintain and develop business intelligence analysis on the Trust's information systems.The post-holder will assist in providing information for external statutory performance returns, ensuring reliable performance information is available to support all internal performance reporting.
Main duties of the job
The responsibilities of the role include:o The production of statutory and mandatory returns datasets and extractso Promoting and supporting the Trust's data quality agenda
oUnderstanding the business requirements of the Trust and translating these into clear and user-friendly informationo Supporting the development of reporting in the specification and provision of datasetso Providing technical support and knowledge sharing with both technical and non-technical colleagues across the Trust
