This job is now closed

Job summary

Bumblebee Ward is a 21-bedded ward that includes three day-case beds and cares for children and families from a wide range of cultural backgrounds. The patient mix is enormously varied and covers both surgical and medical specialities - it's a great ward to work on if you wish to deliver care to patients with a diverse range of conditions and it provides great opportunities to develop a breadth of nursing experience. Although based within the International and Private Care (I&PC) Division, the post is an NHS role and therefore successful applicants will continue to benefit from the terms and conditions of the National Agenda for Change agreement.

Due to progression of current post-holders, we are currently looking for registered nurses who are flexible, innovative and highly motivated to join our friendly and dynamic team. Previous experience of caring for children or patients with a variety of surgical and medical needs is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided by our supportive practice development team. We are committed to enabling our staff to take up the many learning opportunities offered by the Trust, providing the support and encouragement necessary to assist those wanting to develop their careers further.

So whether you are a children's nurse wanting to work at a World class children's hospital or an adult nurse looking for a change of direction, we'd love to hear from you.

Interviews will take place in July 2023
