Are you an experienced Paediatric Nurse with excellent clinical, organisational and management skills? Do you have the drive and determination to deliver and develop these skills in a fast paced and expanding department?
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Outpatients for a Senior Staff Nurse to join the team for 12 months fixed term.
The Outpatients department is a part of the Sight and Sound directorate and sees approximately 700 patients a day across 3 sites.
The successful candidate would be expected to provide clinical care and support to the children and their families across all speciality teams except for Oncology.
Main duties of the job
They will need to possess the skills to support and lead both qualified and unqualified staff members to provide safe and efficient care. Having excellent communication skills will be essential when working with other members of the Multidisciplinary team to ensure the clinics run efficiently and patients and families have a positive experience throughout their Outpatient journey.
