Main duties of the job

As Primary Care Matron atHMP Lowdham Grange, a Category B men's prison, you'll be a key member of the leadership team, reporting to the Head of Healthcare. You'll lead a multidisciplinary team, drive service improvements, and ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate care.

You'll:

Provide clinical and operational leadership to the primary care team
Oversee governance, quality assurance, and service development
Manage staff recruitment, supervision, and performance
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver integrated care
Ensure compliance with CQC, infection control, and health & safety standards
