Main duties of the job
Working life
As a Clinical Lead, you'll
- Lead with the service transformation.
- Improve and develop the agreed service model and developing clinical structure.
- Assist with the continual modernisation and redesign of the Children's Speech and Language Therapy.
- Understand the SEND agenda and ensure EHC needs assessments and reports are completed within the statutory timeframe.
The service aims to provide an excellent standard of care that supports patients across Northamptonshire. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support the service. You will provide clinical supervision to the service as well as facilitating clinical quality for the Speech and Language Team.
Must have skills
You will need to be adaptable and resourceful. You'll need to be well organised, confident and able to cope in diverse situations to deliver patient care. Leadership and management skills are also important, as with all AHP roles, communication skills, problem solving and good judgement are crucial.
You will have an induction period with shadowing and joint sessions, as well as regular peer group supervisions if applicable.
