Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to participate in the ongoing development of the service for adults who are wishing for diagnosis and treatment for neurodevelopmental conditions- namely ADHD, Autism and Tourette's.
We are looking for an experienced psychologist with a background in neurodevelopmental assessment to join our team. The service offers specialist assessment and interventions and promotes neurodiversity approaches in the wider service and across mental health pathways. There are also good opportunities for people wishing to work part-time or across a couple of different specialties in the Trust.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for suitably qualified clinicians - ideally with some specialist clinical experience in the field of ADHD and Autism, as well as some experience in working with complex clinical presentations in Adult Mental Health. Potential applicants should also be experienced in providing supervision.
Equally important is the ability to develop innovative practice and play a lead role in the ongoing development of the service pathways. You would need to contribute to the vision for this service, work closely with partners across the team and the Trust. This will require you to exercise collaborative leadership skills within the Team and to promote the service externally. We are looking for an innovative and resilient clinician with evidenced training who can operate with confidence and credibility to play a key role in the service. Highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to influence and negotiate successfully are essential. You will contribute to developing and monitoring the clinical outcomes and impact of the service and will have a flexible approach to changing patterns of service delivery as needed.
