Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated manager with extraordinary management skills to carry full operational responsibility to Community Team for people with Learning Disability (CTPLD) North and South Team. We are looking for someone who is seeking to develop their proven operational and project management skills and able to empower staff team to deliver outstanding care. Wellbeing of staff is paramount to our service therefore looking for someone who has sound understanding of current pandemic situation.

CTPLD comprises of nurses, physio therapist, speech and language therapists, psychology, occupational health, consultants and Admin. You will be expected to offer supervision to our administration staff and work closely with other teams with LD service as well as outside agencies e.g., social care, CCG and Mental health teams.

We can offer you a friendly and dynamic team environment, with a commitment to continuing professional development. You will also be part of an established leadership team within LD service, who will provide regular clinical/ management supervision and peer support.

Main duties of the job

The team operates Monday - Friday 9-5 excluding BH, with flexible working outside of these hours when required. The operational manager is responsible for day to day management of the countywide adult and children CTPLD ensuring delivery of high quality, effective and efficient services. In joint partnership with the Clinical Leads Team within CTPLD you will develop integrated pathways alongside colleagues within the wider NHFT and external partners to support a seamless service delivery built around individual need and meeting key performance indicators and quality schedules; including providing operational support to service manager. The operational manager will also work closely with Intensive support IST and Transforming care team (TC). CTPLD is an integral component of the Northamptonshire Learning Disabilities Service (NLDS)
