SPECIALIST PODIATRIST
BAND 6: Full and Part time considered, positions available across the county.
An opportunity has arisen for a band 6 podiatrist with an interest in diabetes and the high risk foot. The successful post holder will experience an exciting and challenging caseload providing specialist patient centred care. Working along side a highly skilled dedicated team, whilst building your talent profile.
The Diabetic and High risk foot service in Northamptonshire has a range of clinical specialist teams covering diabetes, tissue viability, paediatrics, nail surgery. We host clinical placements for undergraduate podiatrists and apprenticeships. We have a reputation for growing our own talent.
Main duties of the job
We would like to recruit motivated, keen and enthusiastic HCPC registered Podiatrists who already have a range of clinical skills which will include managing a varied community caseload and patients in high risk categories. The post holder will compliment the service by using their first-class assessment, diagnostic and communication skills to develop programmes of care and their clinical expertise to implement treatment plans.
New graduate developmental (subject to attaining competencies) posts may be available to the right candidates. The successful applicant will be supported and mentored to enable professional development within the diabetic and high risk pathways.
Applications are invited from experienced podiatrists wishing to provide specialist and complex podiatry care for a range of acute and chronic foot pathologies within community settings.
The successful candidates will require a positive attitude to personal and professional development. The post holder will be required to work in a range of community clinics, the ability to travel across county is essential.
