Job summary

We are looking for a motivated Recovery Support Worker

The Community Recovery Team works with people who have recently left long-term rehabilitation placements or are at risk of being admitted to them.

Main duties of the job

The team undertake regular education/case formulation/ presentation meetings provided by staff within the team to share different ideas, knowledge and evidence-based practice and you would be expected to attend these sessions.

Predominantly, service users meet criteria for diagnoses of Personality Disorder or Psychosis, alongside drug and alcohol problems and other conditions such as Autistic Spectrum Disorders and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Over the course of approximately 18 months, the Community Recovery Team works with people to support them to live in the community, improve their quality of life using the CHIME recovery model, and where possible prevent further long-term hospital admissions. The team has small caseloads and offers intense intervention delivered by multidisciplinary team members including CPN's, OT, Psychology, a Drug and Alcohol worker and Recovery Workers. We work alongside other teams within NHFT, including the PD Hub, the Planned Care and Recovery Team and ward staff from the Welland Centre and Berrywood Hospital. The clinical lead for the team is the Principal Clinical Psychologist.

  • Previous experience in adult mental health.
