Main duties of the job
Carer Peer Support Workers in our mental health hospitals have experience of caring for someone who has experienced mental distress and has been in hospital. The role is to complement the support given by healthcare professionals to inspire hope and empower families and other carers to support their family member to reach their own individual recovery goals and make sense of their personal recovery journey as well as manage their own wellbeing.
