Job summary

This is an excellent opportunity to join an accredited NHS IT Service Desk. The successful applicants will be joining a highly motivated, hardworking, and friendly team of technicians. We pride ourselves on our ability to innovate, modernise and support services that provide patient care throughout Northamptonshire.

We work closely with other teams within the DTS Directorate to ensure that we provide an excellent service to our customer base.

The team is working from home due to the challenges of COVID. Induction will take place at Haylock House, RCI, Kettering which is also the base for Service Desk.

The Team communicates extremely well using MS Teams so knowledge of or a willingness to learn Teams would be advantageous.

Main duties of the job

You must be an experienced, highly motivated and innovative individual wanting to join our developing Service Desk team.

You will be responsible for the effective handling and resolution of 1stLine Service Desk calls, together with the triaging calls and allocation to other staff within the directorate.

You will be expected to have an enthusiasm for maintaining high quality services and be very customer focused.

You must have excellent IT skills and a flair for excellent customer service.

You need to be a team player with a flexible attitude to your day-to-day work.
