Job summary
NHFT is an OUTSTANDING provider of healthcare, we have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Support Worker, to work in The John Greenwood Shipman (JGS) Centre in Northampton.
JGS is a Short Breaks Home for children with learning disabilities and or Autism and complex behaviours. The home offers respite care for children and young people.
Main duties of the job
A minimum of 12 months experience of working with children with learning disabilities or Autism is required for this role, as well as experience of working in a community setting. You will need to be highly motivated, possess excellent communication and written skills, willing to learn and develop in your role.
A requirement of this post is a willingness to undertake the Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare. There is a fixed term post and a permanent post available.
