Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and logical person to join the Business Services team within the Digital Technology Services (DTS) department of NHFT. The post holder will be responsible for the analysis, investigation and resolution of complex financial data held within the DTS directorate. The candidate must have excellent communication and IT skills (particularly Microsoft Excel and Power BI) with a very keen eye for detail and an aspiration to support delivery of a value for money DTS service to NHFT. They must be able to work closely with colleagues within DTS and the wider Directorate and provide analytical support to the Digital Compliance Manager (Finance and Planning).
Main duties of the job
- Monthly/Annual financial reconciliations against budget to include both YTD and Full Year Forecasting figures
- Analyse financial data, highlight useful information and trends, and provide detailed conclusions in report form using tools such as Power BI
- Support the resolution of highly complex procurement queries (relating to telephony contracts)
- Updating of internal policies and procedures
- Deputising for the Digital Compliance Manager (Finance and Planning) when required
- Supporting members of the Business Services Team on day to day tasks when required
- Supporting the Digital Compliance Manager (Finance and Planning) to ensure continual improvement in the financial templates/reports used for Senior management, Projects and Bids and Tenders responses
- Monthly reviews of the data use within the Trust exploring options with the aim of reducing data usage costs throughout the Trust
Completing regular audits on both the mobile and landline telephony estates to identify any unused/unwanted devices/connections following through to gain relevant approvals required for necessary account adjustments to be made.
