We have a new opportunities in The Short Breaks Service, forBand 5 Nurses. The Short Breaks Service provides respite care for children and young people with learning disabilities.
This post is based at The Squirrels in Rushden which is a 6 bed Short Breaks Home for Children with learning disabilities and complex health needs
Main duties of the job
As a member of staff within the Short Breaks Service you will be expected to work in partnership with all families, agencies and service providers to assess, implement and evaluate the health and social care needs of the children, while offering a fun, safe and secure environment and ensuring that the child/young person is at the centre of all you do.
To work within this highly engaging integrated service you will be required to be a dynamic, well motivated individual who possesses excellent communication skills, is willing to learn and develop in the role and has the skills and knowledge to support children and young people with complex needs.
