Job summary
We are looking for a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join our friendly and supportive team. We are a reflective team who consider how we can do better to achieve positive change for the children and families we work with, including designating time to intervention. We actively promote neurodiversity affirming therapy approaches and practices. We are a Countywide Speech and Language Therapy Team working in a range of community, mainstream and special school settings.
Main duties of the job
The Children's Speech and Language Therapy Team provides assessment, treatment and advice to children and young adults aged 0-19 with a wide range of needs. We work in partnership with families, other health professionals and colleagues in education to maintain a holistic approach to the management of the child.
