We are looking for a motivated, energetic and driven individual to join our Learning & Development Team.

The Organisational Development Facilitator role is to deliver a range of learning and organisational development interventions across the organisation in support of the Trust Strategy, helping to improve organisational culture in line with our PRIDE values. The post holder will support the Senior OD Facilitator with organisational development work in relation to leadership development, team development and organisational change.

Main duties of the job

The post holder is required to work autonomously with responsibility for course content and standard of delivery, with overall responsibility for the suite of personal development programmes including design, delivery and evaluation of programmes to ensure these are aligned to organisational objectives and priorities.

The post holder will be working in an integrated skill mix and will work closely with the wider HR and OD directorate including recruitment, workforce and communications teams. The post holder will also build strong relationships with subject specialists who support in the design and facilitation of some of the modules within the suite of leadership matters.

The Organisational Development Facilitator will support the Senior OD Facilitator in the design and delivery of OD initiatives across all directorates in the Trust. The OD facilitator role requires an understanding and utilisation of training methodology, the design and delivery of high-quality interventions, incorporating formal and informal development approaches, to support individual, team and ultimately organisational objectives and priorities.

Knowledge and experince

Essential

  • Educated to diploma level or equivalent experience. Skills and knowledge should equate to post-registration or post-graduate diploma level
  • Recognised teaching qualification (eg: TAP, PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS)
  • Recognised Leadership and Management qualification at diploma level or equivalent
  • Good standard of general education (GCSE) or equivalent
  • Knowledge and understanding change management theories, processes and principles
  • Knowledge of leadership theories and principles and experience of delivering these in management and leadership training programs
  • Knowledge of learning theories and blended learning approaches relating to adult learning such as learning styles
  • Excellent facilitation skills with the ability to build rapport and communicate with large groups of diverse staff

Desirable

  • LEAN Six Sigma practitioner or equivalent
  • Recognised coaching qualification or equivalent experience
  • Qualified in psychometric tools such as MBTI and 360 Healthcare Leadership Model
